Thank you Kāinga Ora and Piritahi!

 Kia ora Bloggers!

We had an amazing lunch(Subway combo) today, thanks to Kāinga Ora and Piritahi.

Our class had given their feedback on what they would like to see in the community. We had some fantastic ideas, some said they wanted to see a roller coaster, others said they wanted to ramps for their wheels. We were truly grateful and our tummies were happy with the food we received today.

Thanks again Kāinga Ora and Piritahi.

We hope to see you again,

Adsett class - Hay Park School.

The final blast off.

Hi Bloggers,

Towards the end of the term we had our final blast off with Colm. It was a wonderful learning journey learning about the design process and Newtons laws. Our class had success in launching the rockets. The furthest rocket's distance was 37.6m. We were in awe when it blasted off into the air.

We would also like to say a huge thanks to Colm Carraher from Plant and Food Research Limited for taking out the time to supporting and guiding us through the sessions. Children were very inspired and encouraged by learning about your experiences and knowledge as a Scientist. Colm has made our STEM journey successful!

Check out the student blogs for more information.
