Wheels day

Last week, we had an amazing turnout on Wheels day! Students brought in their bikes, scooters, and roller skates. We had such a blast and the weather was great.  At lunch, we hung out with our friends and had our juicies. A big thanks to our Travelwise leaders and Student Council, we couldn't have done it without you. We all enjoyed our time using our Wheels.

Check out our pictures below.

Back to school!

 Kia ora Bloggers!

We finally returned to school after so many we weeks! We were so happy to see our teachers and friends. We played games and learnt about how a classroom with Covid 19 restrictions were set up so we could follow the rules and be safe. The arrival of Duffy books made us really happy! Nothing beats seeing your friends, teachers, school and a new set of books to enjoy in the sun.

Happy Diwali from Adsett Class

 Kia ora Bloggers,

Hope everyone is doing well in their bubble. Today is a very big day for the Hindu community, it's Diwali! The festival of lights, usually when were onsite and together we would celebrate by drawing patterns, making candles or sweets. This year during distance learning we celebrated by dressing up in gowns or favourite clothes.

Feel free to leave a comment.

End of Term 3

Hey Bloggers,

It's nearly the end of term 3, we have been in lockdown since week 4. Our class has been actively doing our learning online through Google Meet sessions and using the digital tools online. Last week, we were learning to collect data and plot it into a bar graph.

Check it out.

2020 Toyko Olympics fanzone

Kia Ora bloggers,

The senior school at Hay Park school had the opportunity to attend the 2020 Tokyo Olympics fanzone, held at The Cloud.

Children had a blast, we got to meet Debbie Tanner who was an olympian. We asked her questions about her experience and then later we had an opportunity to meet and greet. We learnt so many things and recalling its good to have a go at different sports so you can options with which category or sport you would like to play.

We would like to say a huge thanks to the team at the 2020 Tokyo Fanzone, it was a wonderful opportunity and we had a lot of fun!

Thank you Kāinga Ora and Piritahi!

 Kia ora Bloggers!

We had an amazing lunch(Subway combo) today, thanks to Kāinga Ora and Piritahi.

Our class had given their feedback on what they would like to see in the community. We had some fantastic ideas, some said they wanted to see a roller coaster, others said they wanted to ramps for their wheels. We were truly grateful and our tummies were happy with the food we received today.

Thanks again Kāinga Ora and Piritahi.

We hope to see you again,

Adsett class - Hay Park School.
