Welcome back to Term 3, it is great to have everyone back at school.
On the first day back we caught up with our friends, shared a few laughs and stories!
As part of our inquiry, we are looking at 'Watercare'. We looked at the local rivers and mountains, as we were going to use the names in our Pepeha. Check out our student blog to read our Pepeha.

Matariki
Kia Ora everyone, in Lockhart class we read a book about what Matariki is and then we wrote a paragraph about what we learnt on a star. We then decorated our star and this was displayed in our classroom.
Matariki is a celebration of the Maori new year, one of the things you could do is set new goals. In our class, we set new learning goals on paper feathers and created a class Korowai.
